Ingredients
- 3-4 Tablespoons Oats ( grinded into a powder)
- 3-4 Tablespoons Sattu powder
- 2 Tablespoons Yogurt
- One medium spring onion and green (chopped finely)
- One sprig of mint (chopped finely)
- One teaspoon red chilli powder
- Half a teaspoon Turmeric
- One teaspoon lemon juice
- Water to adjust the consistency
- Oil for shallow frying
Preparation
- Mix the oats powder, sattu, yogurt in a bowl until a batter consistency is achieved without any lumps.
- Add in the chopped spring onion and mint. Mix well.
- Season with the remaining spice and salt.
- Adjust the batter consistency with water till it can be spread easily on a pan.
- Add the lemon juice and give it a last mix.
- Fry in small batches for two minutes on each side, on a medium flame.
Tips
- Try to use a non stick pan for the minimal use of oil and ease in turning the pancakes.
- Serve hot with a mint chutney or a dip of choice.
